Esports Club (or electronic sports) is an extracurricular and state-sanctioned activity is rapidly growing in K–12 education as a path for building science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) and social-emotional skills while increasing student engagement and opportunities for student inclusion. Multiple players work together to compete against an opposing team(s) with a shared objective to win a game. It requires practice, skill building, teamwork, positivity, and dedication. To succeed, the players must rely on quick problem-solving, team collaboration, fast reaction times, and communication.
